We have had offers. Twice from groups that would have kept the name and changed everything behind it. Four chairs, two dentists, one hygienist, and a coordinator who knows your plan, that is the whole practice, and it is deliberate.
Why the quiet
Most dental anxiety
is about surprise.
Not pain. Pain is largely solved. What people actually dread is not knowing what is about to happen, or what it will cost, or whether the person holding the drill is in a hurry.
So we built the practice around removing surprises. Appointments are longer than they need to be. Screens face you. Estimates are written before consent, not after. Nobody here works to a monthly production target, because the moment you do, the advice starts to bend.
It is not a philosophy so much as a set of habits. But sixteen years in, they are the reason people drive from Bend for a cleaning.

Dr. Naomi Ellery, DMD
Principal dentist
Oregon Health & Science University, 2006. Bought the practice from its founder in 2010 and has kept the same four chairs ever since. Restorative and implant work. Runs the Tuesday 7am list because she prefers mornings.
Dr. Priya Raman, DDS
Associate dentist
University of Washington, 2016. Joined in 2021. Aligners, cosmetic bonding, and most of our paediatric visits. Fluent in Tamil and, by her own account, adequate in Spanish.
Marcus Cole, RDH
Lead hygienist
Fifteen years chairside, eleven of them here. If you have been told your gums are fine and they are not, Marcus is the person who will say so plainly and then show you the chart.

Practice coordinator
Handles estimates, insurance, and the schedule. She is the reason the number you are quoted is the number you pay, and the person who will call your insurer so you do not have to.
The building

A 1924 brick corner block with a bookshop on the ground floor and a lift that is slow but reliable. Four operatories face south, so the light is good until about four in the afternoon. There is free parking in the lot behind, and the 12 bus stops on Fifth.
