Clear aligners
You see the finished position on a screen before you agree to anything. If you don't like where your teeth are going, we don't start.
- Typical length
- 6 to 18 months
- Appointments
- Every 8 weeks, about 20 minutes
- Wear time
- 22 hours a day, out for meals
- Price
- Quoted as one fixed number at the consult, including refinements and the first set of retainers
- Payment
- In-house monthly plans, no interest
Aligner marketing tends to skip the part patients actually care about, which is whether the plastic will do what the render promised. So we start there. Your first appointment produces a scan, and from the scan a simulation you can rotate, pause and screenshot.
It is not a sales tool. About one in five people who see their simulation decides the movement isn't worth eighteen months of discipline, and that is a perfectly good outcome for a free appointment. Nobody chases you afterwards.
If you do go ahead, the price is fixed at that appointment as a single number. It covers the aligners, every check-in, any refinement trays we need at the end, and your first set of retainers. There is no separate bill at the finish line, which is where most aligner cases get expensive elsewhere.

Who it doesn't suit
Aligners are good at crowding, spacing, mild rotation and relapse after childhood braces. They are less good at large bite corrections and at teeth that need to move vertically. If your case is one of those, Dr. Okonkwo will say so at the consult and refer you rather than sell you a compromise.
Gum disease has to be treated first. So do untreated cavities. Both add time, and both are cheaper to deal with before the trays than during them.
Scan and simulation
Free, about an hour. You leave with the video of your own projected result.
Trays arrive
Two to three weeks later. We fit the first set and show you the removal trick that saves your fingernails.
Check-ins every eight weeks
Short visits. We compare where you are against the plan and adjust if the teeth are moving slower than modelled.
Refinement and retainers
Almost everyone needs a few refinement trays. They are included. So is the first retainer set.
